Linking Lives Eastbourne offers befriending and
connection with the local community
We are a befriending scheme with the aim of reducing loneliness and improving health and wellbeing for people over 70 who are living alone; matching them with volunteer befrienders who build connection through visiting, telephone chats of going to community activities.
Linking Lives Eastbourne offers a range of services:
- Visits at home
- Telephone chats
- Company to an activity for 3-6 months
- A monthly Friends café
